FAQ List

Who is AUPWIT and what are your core specialties?

AUPWIT is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality hydraulic machinery for the scrap recycling industry.

With about 20 years of experience, we focus on the design and production of metal balers, briquetting presses, metal shears, and industrial shredders, providing sustainable waste management solutions for clients worldwide.

Do your machines carry international certifications?

Yes. All AUPWIT machines are manufactured under strict quality control systems. We have obtained CE certification, ISO9001:2015 quality management system certification, and SGS audits to ensure our equipment meets international safety and performance standards.

What materials can an AUPWIT metal baler process?

Our Y81 series hydraulic metal balers can compress various metal scraps, including steel shavings, scrap steel, waste aluminum, scrap copper, stainless steel, and dismantled car shells into qualified furnace charges such as square, columnar, or octagonal shapes.

How do I choose the right baler for my facility?

The choice depends on three main factors:

  1. Material Type:The thickness and size of your scrap.
  2. Capacity Requirements:How many tons you need to process per shift.
  3. Bale Size:The dimensions required by your local smelting plants or transport limits.

Our technical team can provide a customized recommendation based on these specs.

Can AUPWIT briquetting machines be integrated into a fully automated production line?

Yes, absolutely. Our Y85 series is designed with industrial automation in mind. We can customize the equipment with automatic conveyors, specialized hoppers, and sensors to integrate seamlessly into your existing factory workflow. The advanced PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) system allows the briquetter to synchronize with other machines, enabling 24/7 continuous operation with minimal manual intervention.

What is the advantage of briquetting metal chips over baling them?

Briquetting is specifically designed for small metal particles like chips, turnings, and swarf (steel, aluminum, cast iron, or copper).

  • Higher Density:Briquettes are much denser than bales.
  • Coolant Recovery:Our presses can be equipped with liquid collection systems to recover expensive cutting oils or coolants.
  • Lower Melting Loss:High-density briquettes reduce oxidation during smelting, significantly increasing the metal yield.

How does the integrated cooling system protect the machine during high-intensity use?

For high-tonnage operations or facilities in hot climates, we equip our briquetting presses with high-efficiency water-cooling or air-cooling systems. These systems effectively regulate the temperature of the hydraulic oil, preventing it from overheating. By maintaining the oil at an optimal temperature, we protect the seals from premature wear and ensure the long-term stability and precision of the hydraulic valves, even during heavy-duty, multi-shift production.

Can AUPWIT machines be installed and operated outdoors?

Yes, our machines can be used outdoors, but we highly recommend specific configurations to ensure long-term reliability and operator safety:

  • Weatherproofing:We can upgrade the electrical control cabinet to an IP55 or IP65 rated enclosure and use weatherproof motors to protect against rain and dust.
  • Oil Temperature Management:In cold climates, we install industrial heaters to maintain hydraulic oil viscosity. In hot environments, air or water cooling systems are mandatory to prevent overheating.
  • Protection:While the machines are robust, we strongly advise installing a simple canopy or roof to protect the hydraulic seals and electrical components from direct UV exposure and heavy rain, which significantly extends the equipment’s lifespan.

What kind of after-sales support do you offer?

We provide comprehensive support including:

  • Remote Assistance:Video calls and technical manuals for installation and troubleshooting.
  • Spare Parts:We maintain a large inventory of wearing parts (seals, blades, filters) for quick dispatch.
  • Warranty:A standard 12-month warranty on the main structure and core hydraulic components.

How is the machine shipped and installed?

Small machines are shipped as a whole unit, requiring only power connection upon arrival. Larger systems are disassembled into modules for shipping. We provide detailed installation videos and, if necessary, can dispatch engineers for on-site commissioning and staff training.
